Ms. Langdon

Hi, my name is Stacy and I will be teaching children in grades 1-6 art this year.  I was born and raised in Newfoundland and received my Bachelor of Primary/Elementary Education in 2007 from Memorial University.  I taught full time in Newfoundland until 2018, when I moved to Fort McMurray.  I then taught full time with the Fort McMurray Catholic School Division until having my son in 2020.  Since then, I have taught as a substitute teacher, and shortly after having my daughter in 2023, became the Education Consultant/Program Director at Educare Preschool.  I have taught grades K, 2, 4, 5, and 6, as well as subjects in grades 7 and 8, and I have a wealth of educational knowledge. 

I am passionate about curriculum and instruction and I have participated in writing and implementing new curriculum throughout my teaching career,  including an art curriculum guide.  I am also passionate about inclusion and creative expression. I value the importance of getting to know the interests of my students in order to make meaningful connections with them and to make their learning relevant and fun!
