Timberlea Public School prides itself on being a character education based school. We strive towards building a safe, caring and motivational environment where students can learn. Through our monthly virtue assemblies we introduce a theme for each month based on the 7 Sacred Teachings common among many indigenous cultures in Canada.

We also lay the foundation for students to interact with one another in positive ways by recognizing positive student behaviours on a daily basis. Students can receive a "Howler" ticket that entitles them to a prize from the school office. Each ticket is entered into a monthly draw for 12 students to join the school principal for lunch.
