Timberlea Public School is a safe and caring community striving for excellence in learning.
We are a MicroSociety® school. MicroSociety is an educational model where students take on real-world roles and responsibilities of government officials, business owners and managers, law enforcement, non-profit work, and participate in all aspects of a consumer marketplace.
Throughout the school year, Timberlea Public School engages in Professional Learning Fridays (PLF) as part of our Division goals for staff development and school improvement. Individual school PLF plans attempt to align staff professional growth goals with the goals of Alberta Education, Fort McMurray Public School Division, and the vision and mission of each school.
Timberlea Public School's PLF plan for 2022-23 was developed with these aims, but may change slightly as the year progresses and new issues emerge that require attention in a timely manner.
