Ms. Keddy
Learning Assistance Centre Teacher
My name is Sarah-Leigh Keddy, and I’m thrilled to be your new Learning Assistance Centre Teacher (LAC) at Timberlea. Returning here is especially meaningful as I began my teaching career at this very school in 2007.
The 2016 fire was a turning point in my life, leading to the birth of my daughter, Isla, and several years of teaching at Christina Gordon. This journey then took my family and I to Malaysia, where I gained a global perspective on education. These experiences have deeply influenced my approach to fostering resilience and supporting every student’s growth.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University and a Bachelor of Education from Acadia University. Currently, I’m pursuing a Masters in Leadership at Yorkville University.
I’m excited to bring my passion for inclusive education and my commitment to student success to Timberlea. I look forward to working together to create an inspiring learning environment for all.
