Dear Parents and Families,
Hello! My name is Lisa Skinner and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I want to extend to you and your child, my warmest welcome into our classroom. I am originally from a very small town called Biscay Bay in Newfoundland and I have been living in Fort McMurray for over 13 years. My family and I have made this town our home and we love it here. I have a son who is 15 years old and going to grade 11 this year. I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Education (Primary/Elementary) Degree. This is my 13th year teaching at Timberlea Public School and my fifth year teaching grade two. I am looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the academic year. My goal is to facilitate learning in an exciting and fun way.
