Ms. Hiebert

Grade Six

Ms. Lezley Hiebert came to Fort McMurray from British Columbia, where she was born and raised, in March of 2014. During her post secondary education, Ms. Hiebert completed the Early Childhood Education program and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Visual Arts from the University of the Fraser Valley.  She also completed Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees in Curriculum and Instruction from Simon Fraser University. 

With her training complete, Ms. Hiebert has been privileged to teach at all major levels of education (pre-K, primary, intermediate, junior/senior high and adult) in England, BC and Fort McMurray. As a lifelong learner, Ms. Hiebert continued her education journey by participating in the Restorative Justice Certificate Program at Simon Fraser University, which concluded in December, 2017, and the Indigenous Canada course from the University of Alberta in the summer of 2021.
