Grade 6 Awards

Robert S. Crow Citizenship Award (Established 1987)

This award is presented to a grade six student who shows initiative in social and academic affairs in both school and community.  The student should display qualities of leadership and a well-rounded congenial personality. Student receives an award plaque and their name on the school plaque.

Susan Zysko Fine Arts Award (Established 1995)

This award is presented to a grade 6 student who has shown excellent ability in any one of the Fine Arts, Band, Art or Drama. Student receives an award plaque and their name on the school plaque.

Jessica Doka

Anthony Warren Award of Excellence (Established 2008)

This Award is presented to a grade 6 student who has demonstrated excellence in many areas including academics, athletics, active citizenship and leadership in the school community. Student receives an award plaque and their name on the school plaque.

Richard Thorne Respectful Student Award (Established 2016)

This award is presented to one student from each grade 4-6 who has demonstrated the virtues of a Peaceful School, creating a peaceful environment by promoting and exhibiting respect. Student receives an award certificate and their name on the school plaque.

Ernest Marr Citizenship Award (Established 1992)

Lyndel Donald Extra Effort Award (Established 2006)

This award is presented to one student from each grade 4-6 who has demonstrated extra effort to meet or exceed their learning goals.
