Waleed Najmeddine

I began work in Fort McMurray in August 2008 as vice-principal of Fort McMurray Composite High School and was very fortunate to work there for 4 years. Upon the retirement of Mr. George Decker in June 2012 I assumed the responsibilities of principal at Beacon Hill School. I completed a Master of Educational Studies degree in leadership and school improvement in June 2014. Upon the departure of Mr. Richard Thorne, I assumed the duties of principal at Timberlea Public School in February 2016.

I greatly enjoy collaborating with parents, students and staff with the goals of maintaining a positive learning environment, and opportunities for all students to participate in a wide range of engaging educational experiences.
