Grade 5/6 - Ms. Shannon Dube
Welcome to the 2017/2018 school year! My name is Shannon Dubé and I have been teaching at Timberlea Public School since 2007.
Grade five and six will be a new and exciting year with lots of successes and challenges. There will be lots of new things to learn, adventures to embark on, and achievements to share. Learning is all about student-centered experiences and I work hard to give as many new experiences and opportunities to my students as possible.
I strive to create a classroom where every learning style is acknowledged, practiced, and encouraged. Students will be encouraged to explore, ask questions, take risks in their learning, and realize their potential as a learner. Relationships and making connections with each other is extrmemely important and valuable and will be a huge part of our classroom.
I would like parents and guardians to know that I believe in the success of every student and will provide an environment where students are free to question, be creative, and feel confident as a person. I will provide as many unique and distinctive learning experiences as I can in hopes of furthering your child’s capacity as a learner, an individual, and citizen of this community.
Thank you and I look very forward to teaching your child.
Yours in Education,
Ms S. Dubé
